From 14th till 16th of 03.2010 there was held a meeting of AxPact representatives gathered this time in Paris. This is an association of companies implementing Dynamics Ax system. The rule of AxPact is that from each country belonging to the alliance only one company is invited to such an exclusive association. Mr Pawel Gabryelczyk participated in the meeting on behalf of the Integris IT Systems ltd.
Previous meetings have always enjoyed considerable popularity among companies belonging to the alliance. They are an opportunity not only to establish mutual personal relationships, but are also a platform for exchanging information and ideas about doing business in each country.
The delegates came to Parisian Saint-James & Albany hotel on Sunday afternoon 14th March and attended the welcome dinner after which continued backstage conversation.
The following morning began with a formal meeting. The plan of the meeting was to summarize last year, both from the viewpoints of the participating companies and AxPact. The situation of companies was very differentiated . Some were affected by global crisis, others (including Integris) could boast of a growth in turnover. There was an exchange in some experience related to responding to crises.
In addition, the recent conferences with Microsoft such as Convergence in New Orleans were discussed and summarized as well as the situation in Axpact alliance, with particular emphasis on acquiring new members in new countries (e.g. Middle East). During the discussion, participants advocated for a closer cooperation between the companies and discussed the mutual protection of copyright.
The second part of the meeting was about the activities of Axpact University, internal training platform.
Integris presented so-called Fast Path of Dynamics Ax Implementation, which met with great interest of the members of the alliance. Other companies also shared their implementing experience, especially in international projects. One of the companies discussed in details its experience with outsourcing of programming to India.
Furthermore, Michael Blatherwick, President of AxPact, discussed plans for the next year. He focused in particular on the issue of information brochure with the extension of Dynamics Ax made by members of the AxPact (vertical solutions). Integris also reported its solutions to the brochure. They will also be found on the emerging website www.axpactadditions.com. This website will contain a specialized search engine for these solutions on the basis of their purpose, location, industries etc.
The official part of the meeting ended on that subject, but unofficial backstage conversation lasted much longer ..
