Microsoft, at the annual conference of the National Retail Federation (NRF) Annual Convention & Expo, presented the new Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail dedicated to retail and commercial businesses. Creation of a new Product accompanied by a vision of 'Dynamic Business' - an idea promoted by Microsoft, and the constant pursuit of companies to invest and highlight its presence in key sectors. Dynamics AX Solution for Retail offers companies retail high degree of integration of sales outlets, stores, supply chain, merchandising and finance, thereby allowing an increase in productivity by improving the quality of customer service. Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail combines the functionality of the recently acquired technology and the possibility of an ERP system - Microsoft Dynamics AX.
Cooperation of Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail with other Microsoft products, such as Windows 7, Microsoft Office , Microsoft SharePoint Server and SQL Server, provides efficiency operation of all these tools, and enables sellers to increase the knowledge about consumer behavior and apply it to optimize the entire chain of activities, from sales to delivery.
Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail offers Microsoft partners can provide customers tailored to their needs, functionality, configuration and implementation services, where they are required to create a fair and comprehensive foundation designed for the retail industry.
Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail also supports the currently available service Payment Service which allows customers to make transactions through the leading payment services, including First Data Merchant Services Corporation, from the interface of the ERP system through the complex channels such as e-commerce, sales and call center.
In addition, Microsoft Dynamics AX for the retail trade will support other online service specifically targeted at companies in the retail, service in the Commerce Service. This service extends the multi-channel sales options for the introduction call between the Microsoft Dynamics ERP products, and other tools offered in e-commerce, such as business-to-consumer e-commerce, dedicated e-commerce site, or built-in features such as "cart." Commerce Services service will be available in the first half of 2010.
Microsoft Dynamics AX, a dedicated retail sales will be available in 16 countries, including the U.S., since June 2010. Polish version of the system will be available at a later date.
