Microsoft Dynamics AX

Microsoft Dynamics AX is an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) class system, which was designed to support the specific requirements of enterprises of different sizes, ranging from medium-size companies to international concerns. The versatility of the solution enables automation, standardisation and facilitation of processes in an enterprise.

The system facilitates managing the organisation in key business areas such as: finances, production, logistics, purchasing, sales, marketing, customer service, etc. Microsoft Dynamics AX was invented to facilitate running an enterprise in different locations and countries. The solution is characterised by flexibility and scalability, short implementation time and wide possibilities of matching the changing needs of an enterprise.

Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 is the latest version of the system. The integration with the Microsoft Office solutions – Outlook, Excel, Word, which are commonly used in enterprises, enables the effective use of mechanisms functioning in the company. The interface of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 system was designed to resemble the interface of Microsoft Office, which is widely known and accepted by users. Thanks to this, working in the system is easier.

The software is provided with access to the source code of the system and with a set of programming tools, which is also integrated with the .NET environment. It enables free customisation of the system to the users’ needs.

Besides the system contains a set of interfaces prepared for 61 types of various roles assigned to the staff in enterprises and each of them contains a set of reports, diagrams and efficiency indexes matching the information needs. The main information panel is accessible from the application or from an Internet browser.
