It introduces a wave of innovation across the entire product line with hundreds of new features and capabilities. In order to simplify the Dynamics 365 offer and facilitate the selection, Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales Professional was introduced – a new, streamlined version of our sales application with the basic capabilities of the automation of sales activities. From managing chances to sales planning and performance management, the solution optimizes sales processes and performance.
More details can be found on the product page . Built-in intelligence throughout the product Microsoft has invested billions of dollars in the latest research on artificial intelligence in the last two decades.
These investments are used throughout the Dynamics 365 family and are now available in the spring 2018 version. For example, in Dynamics 365 for sales, new features of embedded intelligence include:
Relationship Assistant – provides alerts and reminders to sellers in order to strengthen customer relationships; automatic capture from Outlook – helps sellers save time by analyzing email to find messages related to specific accounts, then go to Dynamics 365 For Sales with a single click; and e-mail analysis – provides insights based on the content of e-mails with customers, allowing resellers to prioritize the most sensitive contacts.
The release also includes Microsoft Power BI Insights applications, providing ready-made analyzes tailored to specific business scenarios – in the areas of marketing, sales, services, operations, finances and talents. Statistics are generated by applying advanced intelligence to a subset of unique Microsoft data.
In addition, customers can easily enable additional data from multiple external sources to increase relevance and accuracy. Power BI Insights applications can be customized to the needs of the customer in the Power BI service and additionally customized using the full power of Azure data analysis services.
New possibilities of the application platform Just as every company is constantly growing, no application that successfully meets the changing needs of the company is never completely complete.
In such cases, the Business Application Platform platform is included – the basis for extending, adapting and creating new PowerApps, Microsoft Flow and Power BI applications based on and collaborating with Dynamics 365 and Office 365. The spring version introduces a significant update of the Common Data Service for Apps service, which is delivered with PowerApps and provides a wide range of features for modeling advanced business solutions.
Also in Power BI a new possibility was introduced – Common Data Service for Analytics.
Integrating and analyzing distributed data in various business applications and services can be difficult.
The Common Data Service for Analytics will help reduce this complexity with the addition of an extensible business application scheme based on a common data model. Organizations will be able to integrate data from multiple sources and provide users with access to business analyzes based on all data relevant to them.
